Welcome to the website of Ashby African Drummers. We are a community drumming group based in the Ashby-de-la-zouch area.
We meet up every fortnight on Wednesday evenings from7.00pm - 9.30 pm all year around. We welcome new members. No experience needed as we will show you the ropes.
We learn African Rhythmns on african drums which are called djembes or djuns. We have some community drums that we can lend out during the sessions. We are a fun group, members learn at their own pace and can join in any performances if they choose to. Just contact us through this site....
