Welcome to the website of Ashby African Drummers. We are a community drumming group based in the Ashby-de-la-zouch area.
We meet up every fortnight on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm - 9.30 pm. We organise beginner sessions from 7pm to help new members pick up the basics.
We play African rhythms using African drums such as Djembes and Duns. We have community drums for members to use during the sessions. New members are welcome to contact us then join our sessions. The sessions are fun and everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace.
